Anxin Electronics' 6-inch automotive grade chip production line has been completed and put into operation. Domestic automotive grade chips have entered the era of lead-free high reliability

In order to promote the high-quality development of China's new energy vehicle industry and solve the key technical problems of import substitution of automotive grade chips, Anhui Anxin Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. has introduced an international high-tech talent team and built a production line with an annual output of 360000 6-inch automotive grade chips, focusing on the production of high load capacity high-power TVS chips and soft recovery characteristic planar process FRED chips.

This production line integrates dozens of advanced processes such as precise diffusion doping, high-precision photolithography, plasma etching, wet etching, high cleanliness cleaning, LPCVD (including Sipos deposition and silicon nitride deposition), grinding and thinning, and metallization. After careful preparation by the Anxin Electronics team, the project has been successfully completed and put into operation, and the first batch of wafers will be produced by the end of July 2025. The product performance and yield rate have both reached the expected targets. This production line adopts industry-leading LDW production technology, and Anxin Electronics is the first semiconductor enterprise in China to master this advanced technology. Its products can achieve high reliability performance at a junction temperature of 185 degrees, fully meeting the requirements of automotive grade applications, and marking the official entry of Chinese chips into the high-quality lead-free era.
